Zombies Zombies Everywhere: Europe is reportedly the #1 source of junk email (followed closely by the US and China) originating from "zombie" PCs that have been surreptitiously coerced into sending an onslaught of spam on the Internet. What nearly always goes unreported is that virtually all of these zombies are running the Microsoft Windows operating system. A worldwide effort among ISPs may move to quarantine these zombie computers in an effort to combat the problem.
