Open Windows: After years of fighting a monopoly rap in Federal Court arguing that it was not possible to unbundle its Internet Explorer browser from the Windows operating system, Microsoft now decides it will let device makers modify more of Windows CE and will deliver specialized versions of Windows for AMD. Oh and by the way, the company also warns of three new security flaws affecting its flagship OS,the most serious of which allow attackers to gain full control of a PC using Java applets.
