Islay: Hydrogen Power for Locals: Scientists at Scottish Fuel Cell Consortium want to turn Islay into the world's first hydrogen-powered island. The'll make the clean fuel by treating water with electricity generated from an existing wave power station, store the hydrogen in fuel cell batteries, and sell it to locals to run everything from tumble-driers to tractors.
